- On Friday, the S&P 500 and DOW posted a 5-day losing streak
- The S&P 500 had it longest losing streak since February
- PPI was released and rose 8.3%, the biggest annual increase since November 2010.
- This week, the CPI will be in focus: Analysts expect a 5.3% annual increase
- The Fed will take these numbers into consideration when they meet on Sep 21-22 to decide on the monetary policy
- US Stock Index Futures are trading higher this morning. Reason: Covid cases appear to be trending lower in the U.S.
- China crackdown continues: Beijing wants to break up Ant Group’s Alipay. Alibaba (BABA) has a one-third stake in Ant Group.
- Big news for AMC? Disney (DIS) will show the remaining movies this year exclusively in theaters
- Virgin Galactic (SPCE)  is delaying its first commercial research space mission after discovering a problem in the flight control system.
