Here's what is happening in the markets today, Tuesday, September 28th:

- Stocks Index Futures slide
- Bond Yields are surging above 1.5% - the highest level since June
- Tech shares plummet: Facebook (FB), Amazon (AMZN), Apple (AAPL), Netflix (NFLX) and Alphabet (GOOG) all down more than 1% in premarket trading. Nvidia (NVDA) and AMD down 2%, and Tesla (TSLA) lost 1.6% in the premarket.
- Budget showdown in Washington: Republicans blocked a bill that would have funded the government into December
- Fed Talk Today:  testimony from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell to the Senate Banking Committee
- Thor Industries (THO) released earnings and jumped 3.6% in premarket. Thor said demand for RVs remains strong, with backlogs at a record high. 
- Aurora Cannabis (ACB) reported lower-than-expected quarterly revenue and dropped  2.2% in premarket trading.
- Crude Oil is trading above $76 a barrel.
- Natural gas prices soared to their highest level in more than seven-and-a-half years
