Here's what is happening in the markets today, Wednesday, September 8th:

- Stocks index futures are pointing to a flat opening after the Dow’s 260 point loss yesterday
- Coinbase (COIN) shares fall more than 3%after company reveals SEC plans to sue
- Bitcoin dropped 19% yesterday after El Salvador adapts it as a currency
- Tesla (TSLA) is slightly higher in premarket trading after great Chinese car sales numbers 
- Citrix (CTRX)  jumped 5.2% in early morning trading after The Wall Street Journal reported Elliott Management has a more than $1 billion stake in the software company
- PayPal (PYPL) up 1% in premarket trading:  they said they would acquire Japanese buy-now-pay-later company Paidy in a deal worth $2.7 billion.
Nio (NIO) dropped nearly 3% in premarket trading after announcing a $2 billion stock offering.
- Apple's (AAPL) big iPhone 13 reveal event is on Sep 14.
